Nice walk that starts at the 'Hoffelt'. 100 meters from the starting point, we dive into the valley of the Kaleburnbach. It is not just a valley, around 1800 the plan was drawn up to connect the Meuse with the Moselle. This plan was abandoned in 1839, in the artificial valley you can still clearly see what the excavation work has left behind. As soon as we leave the valley, we head towards the "Luxembourg-Belgium" border, where, according to the map, we walk for about 2 km directly along the border line.

We leave the border to walk to the 'Helzinger Klaus'. It is a beautiful chapel with a spring nearby. According to tradition, this source has beneficial properties. Pilgrims come from far away. For example, there is a well-known ritual for people who wanted to get married at an advanced age that had to be performed in order to have a loved one. You had to walk around the church three times and bang your head against a tree three times and jump barefoot into the fountain and shout out the name of your potential loved one out loud three times. If you drank at the source, you became fertile.

In addition, during this walk you will have a magnificent view of the nearby village of 'Hachiville'. Be sure to visit the beautifully decorated church of 'Hachiville'.
