Flaxweiler is a commune in the centre of Luxembourg in the province of Luxembourg. The municipality covers an area of 30.17 km2 and had 1715 inhabitants on 1 January 2007.

This beautiful hike is a big part of the Flaxweiler Walking Tour. It usually starts at the church of Flaxweiler. However, we found a nice place to park just outside the village on a bench with a view.

The hike first takes you through the beautiful forests to the lower washhouse of Berg. This former laundry room can be rented for parties and other activities. From the washhouse it goes through the Bierger Groussebësch up to Flaxweiler. From Flaxweiler we climb through the beautiful forest, then we descend through the fields to the parking lot.

The beautiful forests alternate with beautiful views of the surroundings. In the distance you can see the satellite dishes of the SES in Betzdorf at various locations.
