Cessange (Luxembourgish: Zéisseng, german: Zessingen) is a former village and a district in the southwest of Luxembourg City.

Cessange is one of the most rural districts. With 568 ha, Cessange accounts for 14% of the municipality's area, making it one of the largest districts. Cessange borders the districts of Merl, Hollerich and Gasperich. Much of the district is farmland. In addition, the A6 and A4 motorways cross it and intersect at the Croix de Cessange called Cessange. The former village is located in the extreme northeast of the district and has been attached to the city. Nevertheless, Cessange has retained many of its village features, perhaps also because it is still somewhat separated from the city by an elevated railway and the road to Esch. In addition, Cessange is crossed by the Zéissengerbaach (Cessangerbeek), a stream that forms a tributary of the Pétrusse. The course of the stream is largely canalized and surrounded by a park. The lowest point of the district is 265 meters above sea level and is the point where the Zéissengerbaach leaves the district, near the railway line (elevated). This walk is completely different from what we are used to. There are no significant differences in altitude. It offers the hiker enough variety so that you don't get bored for a moment.
