Starting point: Parking at the National Miners' Monument
Rating: easy

Description: On a paved cycle path we reach the Rumelange-Esch road, which we leave again at the British Airmen Memorial. On a forest road we bypass the heights of the "Rischelerkopp", cross the Bijelen valley and continue the steep slopes of the "Bromeschblerg". Shortly before our starting point we pass the pilgrimage site "Leiffraechen" (the patron saint of miners).

Curiosities: After its rapid social and economic development, when iron ore was found in Kayl, the place gradually returned to its rural tranquility. This city no longer has any industry and is above all a pleasant residential area for commuters.
