Grümelscheid Sunsbech

Open-air museum for agricultural machinery
In 1984, C.I. Winseler opened an open-air museum with old agricultural machinery in the village center of Grümelscheid.

In Nic's "Treasure of Legends". Gredt reads under the title "The Hidden Treasures of Grümelscheid":

The old gentleman from Grümelscheid buried his money opposite his castle in the forest of Grabich (also called Grabach) because he lived in discord with his wayward son. When the son once encountered him on the stairs, he quickly drew his sword and pierced the old father. As he fell, the mortally wounded man called out the window: 'Grabich, you are rich and I am poor.' (According to another report: 'But the castle of Grümelscheid is poor.') According to popular belief, the treasure can be raised on Grabich if one goes into the forest with a spade on which a burning and blessed candle stands. With the spade, one then draws a circle, ghostly figures appear and frighten the treasure seeker. If this person becomes afraid, then the treasure is lost to him."
