This walk was really a surprise for us. We thought we were going to do the local 6km Eschdorf R hike but quickly lost the signage. Normally we follow the GPS track, but this time we had agreed that if there was a change in the route, we would follow it. There was new signage that we suspected had been placed to replace the old one.

But he quickly went in a completely different direction. We then decided to follow a path that is on the GPS, but after more than 1 km in reality it did not continue (dense vegetation). At that time we already had 6 km on the speedometer. Going back wasn't such a good idea. We saw the signs of the local promenade "Boletus", which we then followed backwards. As a result, we deviated from the signage here and there without knowing it. In the end, we covered almost 12 km. We've cleaned the route for enthusiasts, so you don't have to do the 1.6km (3.2km total) round trip.

Nice walk that goes from one signage to another. Oh yes, you can park in the parking lot in front of the Eschdorf town hall.

The moral of the story is: "Never follow paths that are on the GPS and are not marked." ;o))
