We made this beautiful walk on 26.07.2021. You can start from the parking lot of the Fuussekaul campsite in Heiderscheid. For the route, we used the brand new pedestrian network "Projet Leader" in northern Luxembourg. Information and a link to the hikes can be found on the Eislek tour page.

This time we used a part of the FE 1 running loop. Normally it starts from Feulen, but since we are spending our holiday at the Fuussekaul campsite in Heiderscheid, it is much easier to get there. From the parking lot, you descend into the Vallée du Fél, a stream that flows through Feulen. It is a fairly wide valley with meadows. Upon reaching the bottom, we do not go to Feulen, but take a sharp right to follow the valley of the Schmuelschenderbaach. A big name for a small stream. The Schmuelschenderbaachtal can be described as picturesque.
