The Seda River is undeservedly forgotten and peculiar river, because it is like “opposite” - wide and picturesque at the beginning of the route and small and surrounded by the surrounding marshland before the estuary in the Burtnieks. The section from Daksti up to P17 road bridge is recommended for angling enthusiasts, but “difficulty seekers” and “collectors” of rivers should paddle the lower course up to the Burtnieks.
If you decide to continue the route along the Burtnieku up to the outlet of Salaca (4.6 km), you should seriously evaluate the weather! Even the small wind in this coast of Burtnieks will be nasty popple.
