This peculiar hill was used in the in the James Bond film Spectre as the setting for the headquarters of SPECTRE. In the movie, it is stated that this place is an impact crater of the oldest meteorite on earth, the "Kartenhoff". That is not correct at all. First of all, this is not an impact crater, but a steephead valley created by erosion. But that doens't reduce the beauty of this spot. Secondly the Kartenhoff is a fictional meteorite.
