In one of the most beautiful mansions on Francisco Sosa street, characterized by its ajaracas, reminiscent of the Mudejar style of southern Spain, an image of Saint John of Nepomuk, patron saint of priests, and the monograms of the Virgin Mary and Saint Joseph, has recently become the headquarters of the National Fonoteca, responsible for collecting, rescuing, preserving, and promoting the country's sound heritage. Its archives contain political speeches, the first recordings of the national anthem, and much more, including recordings of various natural and cultural sounds from the different states of the country. The institution also organizes interesting workshops, including storytelling, musical instruments, and recitals.
