The Public Library of Groningen was the public library of the Dutch municipality of Groningen. The library was a WSF library. As of November 29, 2019, the library has moved and merged into Forum Groningen. The Groningen Library consisted of a central library in the center of the city of Groningen and nine district branches that together form a network. The main branch of the Public Library of Groningen was located in a modern building from 1992 at Oude Boteringestraat 18 in the center of the city. This building was designed by the Italian architect Giorgio Grassi. The former premises of the library stands next to the oldest house in the city of Groningen: the Calmershuis. Part of the building was previously part of the former Wolters-Noordhoff Complex. Part of this complex was demolished in the early 1990s for the new construction of the library.
