Sybrandy's Speelpark is a small-scale amusement park southwest of Oudemirdum in Southwest Friesland on the IJsselmeer coast.Sybrandy's Speelpark originated from a bird park. In 1964 the Bird Park Sybrandy was opened. A playground was soon built, and it turned out that the visitors came more for the playground than for the birds. It wasn't until the last decade of the 20th century that real attractions were placed. The park was located between Oudemirdum and Rijs. The park was located in the woods of the Gaasterland, in the municipality of De Fryske Marren. A lot of greenery was laid out in and around the park. Part of the park and playground was in an indoor accommodation. On August 25, 2019, the park was opened for the last time at its original location. The owner wanted to sell the park, but a suitable buyer could not be found at first.
