The Marsch is a polder mill built in 1885 and is the successor of the octagonal wooden mill built in 1758 and burned down in 1884. Between 1999 and 2001 the mill was thoroughly restored. The mill is located at Marsdijk 2 in Lienden.De mill has a round, strongly conical stone hull and is a ground sailer and top crawler. The thatched roof is seasoned with the help of an English crosswork. The wick cross is old Dutch and originally had pot rods. The mill has a cast iron top axle and a water shaft from the manufacturer Prins van Oranje.De mill is caught (braked) with a Flemish catch with a catch sock. The water is moved with an iron paddle wheel that has a diameter of 5.80 m and is 45 cm wide.
