De Hamert is an estate and nature reserve in the Dutch province of Limburg.De Hamert is located between the river Maas to the southwest and Germany to the northeast. To the northwest, the estate is bordered by the village of Wellerlooi. A few kilometers south is the village of Arcen.The more than 1000 ha estate with forest, heath and water is owned by the Limburg Landscape Foundation. De Hamert is part of De Maasduinen National Park. The area is crisscrossed with hiking trails and popular with birdwatchers.
