Geldrop Castle dates partly from 1616 (middle part). The castle park was laid out in 1870 in English landscape style. Castle and park are located in the center of Geldrop. In the castle there is, among other things, an exhibition room and an antiquities room. In the antiquities room, historical objects found in the Geldrop soil, such as utensils and crafts from the former industry and a large number of documents and photographs of historical and local significance have been brought together. The castle also houses the local history circle, the guilds and a permanent collection of paintings by Teun Gijsen. The castle is also used as a wedding venue.
