ZooParc Overloon is a zoo located in the village of Overloon in North Brabant. The park is part of the recreation company Libéma. ZooParc Overloon is a member of the Dutch Association of Zoos. The park opened in 2000. The animal enclosures are designed to mimic nature. A number of enclosures are accessible to visitors. The botanical garden, which had been open since 1986 and featured a special herb collection, was closed in 2014. This garden, like the butterfly garden, had to make way for housing development. On January 26, 2015, ZooParc Overloon was declared bankrupt. It was eventually purchased by Libéma.
