The cost gaet for the baet out can be read on the facing brick. The building first belonged to the illustrious V.O.C. and then became a cheese warehouse. At the beginning of 1900, it passed into the hands of a well-known seed company, which in turn donated it to the current Zuiderzee museum just after the 2nd world war.
