Description

Dating from the 15th century and decorated in Saxon style, the farmhouse with an original living area with historical tools and utensils. The farm was for centuries the central place in the Marke Hellendoorn. In the yard there are, among other things, a horse churn mill, a baking oven, a sheepfold, a well, an iemenschoer and a wagon shed. Open: 1 May to autumn holidays Tue. until Fri. 14-17h. Outside normal opening hours (e.g. for groups) consultation with Mrs. D. Nijenhuis, tel. 0548-654500. Entrance: adult. 1 2,00/ child up to 12 yrs. free. Entrance ticket also gives access to village museum "de Valkhof".
