The Basilica of Saint Pancratius is a Roman Catholic parish church in the center of Tubbergen, the Netherlands. The neo-Gothic church, built in 1897, was elevated to the status of a minor basilica in 2000.
Traditionally, there was a chapel dedicated to St. Pancratius in Tubbergen, which belonged to the parish in Ootmarsum. This chapel was enlarged and from 1576 it became the local parish church by the parish of Ootmarsum. In 1634 a minister was appointed in Tubbergen. Despite the largely Catholic population, the church was handed over to Protestant hands. When Louis Bonaparte, King of Holland, learned in 1809 that there were only 68 Protestants for thousands of Catholics in Tubbergen, he ordered the restitution.
