In the past, the tower of St. Peter's Church was also used as a refuge when the river Linge burst its banks. St. Peter's Church or St. Peter's Church belongs to the Dutch Reformed Church. The construction period of the tower is estimated at the end of the 15th and mid-16th centuries. The current church building was created around 1825 by major renovations of a medieval hall church.
