Wijenburg Castle or Huis te Echteld is a castle in the municipality of Neder-Betuwe, northeast of the village of Echteld.
The foundation date is not known. However, the oldest mentions of this castle date back to 1178. From 1272 to 1751 the property was owned by the Van Wijhe family. In 1817 several changes of ownership followed until the castle fell into disrepair. The last owner Baron van Verschuer donated the castle to the Friends of Geldersche Kasteelen Foundation in 1956. Since 1965, Wijenburg Castle has been a listed building. A restoration followed in 1957 and was completed in 1977. Nowadays the castle is used as a wedding and party location.
