The windmill 't Vliegend Hert on the Molenstraat in the Dutch city of Brielle is a post mill built in 1985. It stands as a rampart mill on the ramparts of the city, on the site where a flour mill has stood since the seventeenth century. Until 1696 it was a post mill, which was replaced by a stone scaffold mill in that year. That mill burned down in the night of 2 to 3 November 1810 and was rebuilt in 1811. This one also burned down in 1882. After this, the mill was demolished and no new mill was built in its place, until in 1970 the tars of the old post mill were found during a restoration of the fortress. It was decided to build a mill that would be a replica of the former post mill.
