The Cellebroederspoort is one of the three city gates of Kampen that has survived. The Cellebroederspoort is located on the park side at the end of the Cellebroedersweg. On this side, there was no stone city wall but an earthen rampart to defend the city.
The gate was relocated to its current location in 1465. The original gate stood by the Kampen city moat the Burgel. The gate is named after a nearby monastery of the Cellebroeders. Around 1616, the gate received its current form. A design in Mannerist style by master builder Thomas Berentsz.
