The Anermolen in Ane in Overijssel is a flour mill built in 1864, which replaced an earlier mill dating from 1858 on the same site. It is a belt mill whose superstructure consists of an octagonal, thatched, wooden mill with stone field walls. In the middle of the 20th century the mill fell into disrepair and in 1978 the municipality of Gramsbergen bought the mill, which at that time was little more than a hull with a hood. In 1981 the mill was restored. This year is placed in the reeds on the south side of the Anermolen. In the mill there are two pairs of grindstones, the stone spindle of which is decorated with princely work. The mill has a grout that runs so heavily that an electric motor is installed to be able to cross. Nowadays, grain is milled on a voluntary basis in the mill, which is owned by the De Aner Molen Foundation. The Anermolen can be visited on Saturdays from 13:00 to 16:00 and by appointment.
