A Rest Point offers the possibility of a short stop with coffee, tea or lemonade with some goodies, with residents in the outskirts of Salland. The Rest Points are clearly marked by means of a Rest Point sign and opened when the sign is actually 'open' on it.
From this Resting Point, much of the coordination is done for the foundation for the conservation of nature and landscape Holten and surroundings. This foundation aims to acquire ownership of as much of the authentic landscape as possible in order to keep it intact.
The digging of frog pools (also lost during the land consolidation) is also part of the work of the foundation.
The thatched 'hay mite' has been set up as a resting point.
