A Rest Point offers the opportunity for a short stop with coffee, tea, or lemonade along with some treats, for residents in the rural areas of Salland. The Rest Points are clearly marked with a Rest Point sign and are open when the sign 'open' is displayed.
The Rest Point of the Willemink family is located at the old Post Road intersection with Willeminksweg, under an authentic hay shed, next to the chicken coop.
We run a regular dairy farm here, along with a small-scale care branch. A number of people with intellectual disabilities work with us on the dairy farm three days a week. In 2005, we joined the officially launched Rest Points in the Deventer Buiten region and switched to coffee and longer-lasting dairy products and soft drinks due to unpredictable weather conditions. Our helper farmers enjoy chatting with you and telling you about their work.
