A Rest Point offers the possibility of a short stop with coffee, tea or lemonade with some goodies, with residents in the outskirts of Salland. The Rest Points are clearly marked by means of a Rest Point sign and opened when the sign is actually 'open' on it.
Our farm was built before 1783. A mention of a mortgage was found in that year.
It concerned the tomtown Roozenvoorde. A hangover was a smaller farm, which did not have the right to vote in the Marke meetings.
According to tradition, the farm was originally an inn on the dirt road between Deventer and Zwolle.
The destination was later changed.
The walls of the house at the front were originally as low as those of the former part, but during a renovation in the sixties these walls were erected, where, after removing a box bed, old weapons and coins emerged.
Bed & Breakfast and the resting point give the building back its original purpose.
Since we moved into the farm, we have been working intensively with horses. Both riding on and behind the horse.
Quality is of paramount importance to us; Many wishes can be fulfilled with us. You can join us for a 'pot or take a horse-drawn carriage ride.
