TOP The New Development.
Tourist Transfer Points (TOP) have been established at various locations in the Achterhoek. From these points, it is very easy to switch to different cycling and walking routes from the car, bus, or train. Each transfer point offers different possibilities. At one point, there are also mountain biking routes, another point is located along a canoe route, the next is the starting point for inline skating routes, and another is a combination of these elements. The transfer points can be recognized by a uniquely designed pillar (see photo), an information board, and there are rest facilities. Clear signs have been placed along the main roads in the Achterhoek that lead to the transfer points. All locations have ample parking space, and there is usually a hospitality facility nearby.
