TOP Erve Kots. Tourist Transfer Points (TOP) have been set up at various locations in the Achterhoek. From these points, you can easily transfer from your car, bus or train to various cycling and walking routes. In addition, each transfer point has different options. At one point there are also mountain bike routes, the other point is on a canoe route, the next is the starting point for inline skating routes, the other is again a combination of these elements. The transfer points can be recognized by a specially designed column (see photo), an information board and there is a place to rest. Clear signs have been placed on the main roads in the Achterhoek that lead to the transfer points. To visit: Saxon farmhouse from the 17th century, Los Hoes, Schoppe, bakhoes, charcoal burner's hut, antiquities room, ros oil mill and sawmill. Demonstrations of old crafts. In the brewery, called the ''Brouwhoes'', beer is brewed in a completely traditional way. It started with the Achterhoek country beer ''Boksebier''. There is also a special pilsner ''Frederik Hendrik'' named after Prince Frederik Hendrik who had set up his headquarters on the spot where Erve Kots now stands, during the years of siege of the fortified town of Grol.
