History:
The rosmolen was built in 1546 as an addition to the already existing windmill commissioned by the then owners de Graven Van den Bergh in the same location. After the construction of the horse mill, the graves leased the entire location with tower mill and the miller used the horse mill when there was too little wind to be able to grind with the help of the farmer's horse. In 1866 the mill was sold and demolished as a horse mill. In 1974, with the help of the original construction drawings that had been preserved in the archives of the Huis Bergh, the rosmolen was rebuilt.
