St. Walburgis church and Librije

Oldest part of the church is from the 11th century, the current church is mainly 13th century, since the 16th century the church possesses the current appearance. In the church beautiful vault paintings. Special is a 15th-century wrought-iron candle crown and a copper baptismal font from 1572. In one of the side chapels is the 16th-century church library de Librije. The books in the collection date from before 1750, there are printed books from before 1500 and some manuscripts. On display approx. early July till early Sep Tue tm Sat 10.30 – 16.30 h. In June, spring and autumn section Tue to Sat 13.30 – 16.30 h.
