Groeneveld Castle is an estate with a castle in the municipality of Baarn. It is used by the forestry administration as a branch office for the city and country. A long driveway from the Amsterdamsestraatweg forms the line of sight of the property. This line of sight leads across the corridor on the ground floor to about two kilometers into the forest behind the castle. In the past, the line of sight even reached as far as Monnikenberg in the direction of Hilversum and in a northerly direction.
