Castle Garden Old-Valkenburg
In the heempark section, there is ample space for native flora. About four hundred plant species typical of the South Limburg flora have been collected there. In addition, old field crops and vegetables have been planted. Visitors can also enjoy the scents and colors of numerous medicinal and culinary herbs in a beautifully landscaped herb garden. Animal life can also be seen. The water pond teems with water snails, salamanders, and green frogs. Bees buzz about, especially around the beekeeping area. Also located near the garden is the watermill Sjloens Meule, which can also be visited.

Monday to Sunday from 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM (April 26 to October 4)
Entry: adults 3 euros; seniors 2.5 euros; children up to 16 years: 1 euro
