't Peeske, a name that comes from the Latin word "pascuum", which means fertile place or wetland pastures.
't Peeske is located in the Montferland woods. At the end of the nineteenth century, the highest lake served as a water buffer for an overshot water mill that was used to grind grain into flour, the basis for bread. The water wheel is long gone, but you can still enjoy delicious sandwiches and pastas at the Peeske. Take a break after a walk through the beautiful Beekse woods, with a cup of coffee and a nice piece of cake or a drink.
We look forward to welcoming you!
