Natuurmuseum Brabant is the nature museum about nature and landscape of North Brabant. It is located on the Spoorlaan in the North Brabant city of Tilburg, in the former villa of cloth manufacturer Guillaume J.D. Pollet. In 1935, Natural History Museum Tilburg was opened on the Paleisstraat. The museum was housed in the former intendant residence of King William II and had only one exhibition space. The first curators were Dr. A. Liernur and Mr. W. of Boextel; They got help from volunteers. For example, a diorama of freshly picked mushrooms was set up every autumn. The museum did not go much further than showing stuffed animals and other peculiarities.
