In 1636, the building for the St. Sebastian's Guild was constructed. In 1986, the museum took over this property.
Here hangs the youthful portrait of William II and Mary Stuart, there stands the desk of Willem Drees, and the official costume of Thorbecke is on display, but also there is the tongue of Johan de Witt and the toe of his brother Cornelis, both severed during their execution at the Plaats by the Gevangenpoort.
There is also a painting that was purchased by the Rijksmuseum in 2007 and has never been displayed there. It is a representation of the Iconoclastic Fury. The remarkable thing about this is that it is a painting, whereas until now only prints of the Iconoclastic Fury were known.
