The Gouvernement, also known as Gouvernement aan de Maas, is the provincial house of the Dutch province of Limburg. The building is located in Randwyck in the Limburg capital Maastricht and is situated on and partly in the river Maas. The Gouvernement is the seat of the Provincial States of Limburg, the Executive of Limburg, and the King's Commissioner in Limburg. Limburg is the only province in the Netherlands where the latter is informally referred to as governor and the building where they sit as gouvernement; a legacy from the time of the military governors of Maastricht.
