Gilze is a village in the Dutch province of North Brabant. As of January 1, 2021, the village had a population of 8,275. Gilze is one of the oldest places in the land of Breda. To the west, south and east of Gilze are extensive agricultural areas, especially on the south side bordered by forest complexes; Prinsenbos, Annabos and the Ulvenhoutse Bossen.
