This castle was built around 1300. Back then, it was still a defensible fortress. After that it became a residence for the nobility. The power of the nobility disappeared around 1800. The castle was converted into a villa by wealthy private individuals and eventually lost its medieval character. After the Second World War, the destroyed building came into the hands of the municipality. The restoration was completed in 1954. There is also a VVV Agency here.
