The interior of St. Martin's Church
The construction of St. Martin's Church began in 1456 and took more than a century. The church has a high, light interior with three equally high naves, which are spanned by beautiful ribbed vaults. The walls are adorned with colorful vault paintings, which are among the largest contiguous late Gothic vault paintings in the Netherlands. One of the highlights of the church is the beautiful choir, which is enclosed by an ornately decorated choir screen.
