The Posbank near Rheden is the name of a monument and an adjacent tea house, on the edge of a heather-covered moraine on the Veluwe, and has a height of 90 meters above sea level, from where a magnificent view is possible over the IJssel valley and the Achterhoek to Germany. The outlet that used to be on the Posbank was destroyed in a fire in 1996. In 2002 Natuurmonumenten had a new tea house built according to a special and sustainable design. The Posbank is part of Veluwezoom National Park.
The original name of the heathland in which the Posbank is located is Herikhuizerveld. However, everyone calls it The Posbank, after the monument in the form of a semicircular stone bench that is present on a striking viewpoint. This bank is named after Mr. G.A. Pos, former chairman of the ANWB.
