The Spoolder lock is a lock with one lock chamber with pointed doors between the IJssel and the Zwolle-IJsselkanaal in the municipality of Zwolle. The largest vessels allowed on this waterway are ships with the dimensions 110 x 12.00 m, CEMT class Va. With permit 139 m.
The lock is 142 m long, 14.0 m wide. Depth lock threshold both on the inside and on the outside is NAP –4.50 m. The top of the lock wall has a height of NAP +5.50 m. The water level in the canal varies between approximately NAP –0.20 m and -0.40 m.
