Quadenoord

Estate Quadenoord is an estate in Renkum in the Dutch province of Gelderland. The estate covers 230 hectares and includes, among other things, a riding school, a nature camping area, and a sculpture garden.
The estate is characterized by typical examples of heathland reclamation from the 1930s. The pine forest is gradually becoming more varied with deciduous trees that are developing spontaneously. In addition, the Renkum valley springs from the estate. The estate houses several springs that feed the Molenbeek, Oliemolenbeek, and Halveradsbeek with seepage water. On the estate, the only one of many watermills that once existed in the valley has been preserved. The open valley with meadows gives the estate a diverse landscape. Because the estate is set up for recreation, the area is also frequently visited by walkers, riders, and mountain bikers.
