Solleveld is a nature monument between Kijkduin and Monster. This nature monument consists of several different areas: Solleveld, Dorestad, Ockenrode, Van Leijdenhof, Hyacintenbos, and Ockenburg. There are various owners including Delfland for the dune strip along the sea, Dunea for Solleveld, the Zuid-Hollands Landschap for Van Leijdenhof and Hyacintenbos, and the municipality of The Hague for Ockenburg. Ockenrode and Dorestad are privately owned. Solleveld, along with the more southerly Kapittelduinen and the Staelduinse Bos, has been designated as a Natura 2000 area under the name Solleveld & Kapittelduinen.
