B&B Bothalenshof

The B&B is a detached, comfortable, and stylishly furnished apartment, surrounded by a beautiful flower garden and a meadow behind the farm 'Bothalenshof'. Bothalenshof is located in the countryside on the north side of Malden, just a stone's throw from Nijmegen. Places like Groesbeek, Molenhoek, and Mook are also within easy reach. Bothalenshof was built in 1916 after the original farmhouse was destroyed by fire. Since the early 1980s, it has been a residential farm. The history of Bothalenshof dates back to the 17th century and has a long and rich history. There has been much speculation about the meaning of Bothalenshof. The Stichting Heemkunde Malden recently discovered that 'bot' meant marshy land; next to that marshy land was an even lower-lying area known as 'broek'. Water from Bothalenshof flowed into the broek. That piece of land was called 'halen'. Hof refers to a farmstead. Two lime trees mark the farmhouse; one of them is over 300 years old.

The B&B serves as an excellent base for walking, cycling, and enjoying peace and quiet. The non-smoking apartment is very quietly located. The apartment consists of a large living/sleeping area and a kitchenette, a bedroom with two single beds, a small hallway, a shower with toilet, and a room with a sink. The second small bedroom is intended for when you are two people and want to sleep separately or if your party consists of 3 or 4 people (you share all facilities). All rooms of the apartment are on the ground floor. You can enjoy the south, east, and north terraces.

You prepare your breakfast at the time you desire. For that purpose, the essentials are ready in the fully equipped kitchenette (incl. fridge, stove, microwave, etc.). We would like to hear any wishes you may have.
Coffee and tea are always available for free, as well as wifi. There is digital TV, a documentation folder, and private parking for cars. There is also the possibility to rent two ladies' bicycles. Check-in can be from 1:00 PM; check-out until 11:30 AM. We do our best to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
