Wolkenland is the name for a youth hostel and the surrounding forest plot. It is located one kilometre south-east of Beek, near the Peeske. The original Wolkenland was a villa and was built in 1919 by the painter Carl Imanuel Leberecht Garschagen. It was destroyed by fire in the early 1930s and rebuilt as a youth hostel. Since then, Wolkenland has been in the possession of the Amsterdam Lyceum.
