*In the Botteramstraatje is also the forge museum of Marcelis. Hendrikus Johannes Marcelis, who was born in Driel in 1842, was a blacksmith. His father-in-law Jan Peter Hendriks (born 1801 in Baarlo, Limburg) is a blacksmith in Angerlo. This shows once again that 'Wandern ist des Müllers Lust' does not only apply to millers. Son Jan Marcelis, who married Bet Koster from Braamt in 1901, succeeded as blacksmith. The photo and film group of the Local History Society has made a video film about this forge that now serves as a museum. This film was shown on Ascension Day 2007 in the Heemkundehuus. Among other things, you can see how an iron hoop is placed around a cart wheel.
