A stone's throw from the Grafelijke Torenmolen, the Rosmolen and the St. Oswalduskerk you will find museum farm "De Gildekaot" in Zeddam. You will be taken back to grandmother's time. It was built on the initiative of the St. Oswaldus Guild. The foundation stone was laid on 27 October 1991. The construction was carried out on the model of numerous old houses that used to stand in this area but have now almost all been demolished, renovated or dilapidated. In the Gildekaot you can see how a simple working-class family lived and lived around 1875-1900. Here you will discover how people used to live and work on the edge of the Bergh forest. A visit is really worth it.
