Groesbeek - Liberators like stars from heaven
On 17 September 1944, countless paratroopers and gliders with war material landed here in Groesbeek. Operation Market Garden had begun. Many eyewitnesses remember the fierce battle. Many also kept a diary. Pastor Hoek van Groesbeek and Leutnant Bliss still give us a poignant description of those days so many years later.
