Landgoed Avegoor has it all; idyllic, comfortable, luxurious. And yet in 1941 it did not meet the requirements of Hauptsturmführer Brendel. Here he was put in charge of the school that can be called the cradle of the Dutch SS. Jewish innocent men were forced to carry out the expansions under inhumane conditions.
